These poems are for sleepless nights, for days of heartache and days of laughter; to let you know that you are never alone and to show you that your dreams can become your reality.

I started to write this first anthology of poems in the heart of Africa where I celebrated my 18th birthday, shortly after completing my "A" Levels.  They show my life through the early years of University and all it brings: the extreme loneliness and betrayal.  I first experienced juxtaposed with feeling of immense happiness and acceptance.  The poems are very personal to me but I hope to help and influence those going through similar experiences.

You may feel as I felt, the poems may not change you; but if one word or sentence can bring a smile or feeling of relief then I have succeeded in touching your heart.
